OGDEN a€" Lue Scott Hinchcliff, 84, passed away Saturday, April 19, 2008 at McKay-Dee Hospital.

She was born November 13, 1923 to David A. and Lola Stone Scott in Ogden, Utah.

Lue was raised and educated in Ogden, graduated from Ogden High School in 1941.

She married Edwin "Stutz" Hinchcliff and they were the parents of two children. They later divorced.

Lue worked in various places throughout her lifetime, including Weber State College, Brewer Tire Company and Hill Air Force Base.

Lue was a longtime member of Altruist, a charitable women''s group and served as President in 2000-2001.

In her later years, she enjoyed water aerobics at Gold''s Gym, playing bridge, going to the symphony, and watching the Jazz. She was a member of the LDS Church and attended the Liberty Park Ward.

Lue was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She is survived by her daughter, Kay (Lynn) Moyes and a son, Raymond (Cherie) Hinchcliff, seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, with another expected at anytime. She is also survived by a sister, Bonnie Maruri and two brothers, Brent (Sue) Scott and Lynn (Ann) Scott.

Lue was preceded in death by her parents and a cousin who was raised as a sister, Dorothy Burbidge.

Graveside services will be held Friday, April 25 at 11:00 a.m. at Ogden City Cemetery.
