Luis Diaz Sepulveda, 93 years old, born August 25, 1929 in Los Bagres, Durango Mexico. He passed away on November 26, 2022 in his home in Ogden, UT. He married Martina Cervantes who preceded him in death. They were blessed with a son named Manuel Diaz. Luis later married Juana Del Rio Diaz in Ogden, UT on July 25, 1974. The two were each other's lifelong companions and friends. They were blessed with three children, Jesus Diaz, Marcela Diaz, and Luis Diaz.
Luis was a self-taught hardworking individual who was employed by Southern Pacific Railroad. He enjoyed gardening, maintaining his lawn, good food, staying active, music, laughing, and doing other things for others. Luis could always be counted on for a good joke, he enjoyed good company. He was an active member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He was a loving and devoted companion, father, grandfather, and friend. He often took on difficult tasks at work and home. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Luis was preceded in death and reunited with his parents, many siblings, and Cipriano Del Rio. Surviving is his loving spouse, children, sister Demetria Carrillo, many nieces, nephews, beloved grandchildren Rosalba Diaz, Ruben Diaz, Manuel Diaz Jr, Marisela Diaz, Chuy Diaz, Benny Diaz, China Diaz, JJ Diaz, Tino Diaz, Carlos Diaz, Licia Diaz, and Santino Hernandez and 12 great-grandchildren.

The family expresses their thanks to Inspiration Home Health and Hospice and Dr. Richard Gregorie for the loving care they gave.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 5, 2022 at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 514 24th, Ogden, Utah. Friends may visit with family on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. with Rosary at 7 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park 4500 Washington.
