In Loving Memory of Luke Aaron Boaz

Luke Aaron Boaz, 22, of Layton, Utah, passed away on February 11, 2025, in Salt Lake City. Born on January 16, 2003, in Ogden, Utah, Luke lived a life full of laughter, adventure, and unwavering positivity.

Luke was full of life, with a contagious smile and a pure heart that radiated kindness. He was resilient, strong, and inspiring—someone who saw every day as "the new best day ever." He had a way of reminding us to cherish life’s little moments and embrace every opportunity with joy.

Luke faced challenges with steadfast determination. Though he lived with epilepsy, he never let it hold him back from doing anything he wanted to do. He refused to let obstacles define him, instead choosing to live life to the fullest, pursuing his passions and spreading joy to those around him.

A graduate of Layton High School, Luke was a dedicated member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and a proud Special Olympics athlete since 2021. He had many passions, including video games, Pokémon, anime, mountain biking, boogie boarding, swimming, and music. But above all, he loved spending time with his family and his loyal dog, Reef.

Luke is survived by his loving parents, Aaron Boaz and Joy Wilson; his sister, Baily Boaz (27); and his brother, Zachary Boaz (19). His presence in our lives was a gift. Though his time on Earth was far too short, his shining light and influence will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.

Luke, your love and beautiful soul changed our lives forever. We know you are in a place of peace, and we look forward to the day we are reunited. Until we meet again.
