Luke Alan Nielsen

SYRACUSE – Luke Alan Nielsen, 3 ½ months passed away in his sleep Tuesday, December 1, 2015.

He was born August 15, 2015 in Layton, Utah the son of Colton Tyler Nielsen and Kearstyn Summer Grace Todd.

We loved lying down with Luke sitting on our chest.  We would bend him over to give him kisses.  He would have a huge smile on his face that would melt our heart.  We played all the time, making each other laugh and smile.  He started to do raspberries but he would drool all over everything.  Luke was and still is our whole world.  We held his hands for a short while, but his heart forever.

He attempted daily to crawl and yelled with frustration when he could not do it.  He loved watching football with daddy and singing with mommy while she got ready with him.

Surviving in death are his parents, grandparents, Sherry Nielsen, Glenda (Cricket) Bailey, Rodney Bailey and four great-grandparents.

Preceded in death by his grandfathers, Robert Alan Nielsen (08) and Joseph Arthur Todd (96).

Memorial services will be held Friday, December 11, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.  Friends may visit family one hour prior to services.

In lieu of flowers family suggest donations be made in Luke’s donation account at Zion’s Bank.
