Lurrine McFerson

Dear Mom, Heavenly Father saw you were getting tired so He put his arms around you and whispered, “Come with me.”

Lurrine McFerson, 85, graduated from this life to return home on Friday, June 13, 2014. Awaiting her arrival was husband David R. McFerson who she married June 11, 1947 in the Salt Lake Temple. Her parents, nine siblings and one granddaughter, Kira Edmiston, also welcomed her home.

Lurrine was born August 6, 1928 to Clyde D. and Agnes Mitchell in Upalco, UT. She will be missed by her daughters Vicki (Randy) Johnson, Debbie (Craig) Anderson; eight grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, one brother, Darwin Mitchell, and two sisters, Jean Moss and Drue Smith.

Mom, we will always remember your love and amazing spirit.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 19, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 N. Fairfield Rd. where friends may visit with family on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Rd., Ogden, UT.
