Lydia Haslam Baxter Willmore

CLEARFIELD – Lydia Haslam Baxter Willmore, age 94, passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at Chancellor Gardens at Clearfield.

Lydia was born November 19, 1920 in Mt. Sterling, Utah to Sarah Haslam and Robert Laurence Baxter. Married Dennis W. Willmore on November 1, 1941 in Las Vegas, NV. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple. Lydia graduated from Logan High School and attended Utah State University. She was employed for 32 years at Mountain Bell. Lydia loved her family and enjoyed golfing, traveling and trips to Bear Lake. Her family loved her delicious pumpkin pie and English toffee.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis. She is survived by her daughters, Susan Sellers, Judy (Kent) Larson and Becky (Mark) Kano, nine grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.

Special thanks to the staff and many friends especially, Judy, Terry, Marion and Mary at Chancellor Gardens as well as Symbii Hospice for providing care and comfort to our mother.

Graveside services on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at 12:30 p.m. at Logan City Cemetery, Logan, UT. Friends may visit family Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary 1867 N. Fairfield Rd., Layton.
