Lyle D. Solt

1963-2014

Lyle D. Solt, 51, passed away Sunday, July 20, 2014 at his home in Farmington, Utah, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.

He was born April 19, 1963 in Salt Lake City, Utah the son of Jerry and LoAnn Hansen Solt. Married Caren James, March 6, 1982.

Lyle graduated from Viewmont High School in 1981. He was a partner with his cousin Dennis Solt, they owned and operated LD Manufacturing. They also started All Play Motor Sports in Centerville in 2005.

Everyone that knew Lyle loved him.  He was always willing to lend a helping hand.  He loved riding his Harley and spending time with family and friends in the outdoors.  He found paradise fishing in Cabo San Lucas.

Lyle is survived by his wife Caren; sons Ryan (Emily), Tyler (Alex), Brayden (Kayla); four grandchildren Vanessa, AnnaBelle, Max and Jordyn; parents Jerry and LoAnn Solt; brother Leslie Solt; sisters JeriAnn (Mark) Gentry and Shelia (Mike) Dailey.  He is also survived by his mother-in-law Carol James; sister-in law Tracie Gallagher (Jason Potter) and many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.  Preceded in death by his grandparents and father-in-law Max James.

The family wishes to thank all those who have supported Lyle and his family during his illness.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, July 24, 2014 at Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N. 400 E. where friends may visit family Wednesday July 23 ^rd from 6-8 pm and 9:30 – 10:30 am prior to services.  Interment Farmington City Cemetery.
