Lyle Stacy Tripp Sr.

OGDEN-Lyle Stacy Tripp Sr. passed away on Friday July 22, 2011, from complications due to a fall at home.

He was born on May 5, 1944 to Stacy Lyle Tripp and Thelma Marie Ferrin Tripp.

Lyle married Reva Rae Miller on December 11, 1962 in Council Bluffs, IA.

He was an electrician for the Union Pacific Railroad where he retired after 43 years of service.

He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of-latter Day Saints. He was a family man and a jack-of-all-trades.

Lyle is survived by his wife Reva R. Tripp, sons Lyle S. (Linda) Tripp Jr. and Adam L. Tripp, also survived by special sons Lonnie and Dexter; daughter Tina N. Tripp, six grandchildren, mother Thelma M. Tripp, sister, Anne Stearman.

He is preceded in death by his father, Stacy L.Tripp, and grandson Dwight S. Tripp.

Funeral services will be held on Friday July 29, 2011 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.

Family will meet with friends on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the mortuary and on Friday from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m.

Interment, Lindquist''s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
