Lyman Moulton II

May 19, 1937 — February 21, 2019

The true measure of a man is how he treats his wife. Our gentle and loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather passed away on February 21st, 2019 with his wife AnnaMae Tobler near his side. They loved each other for 61 years and till the end he adored her and loved her like the day they married.

Lyman was born May 19, 1937 in Sutherland, Utah to Lyman H. Moulton and Laura Ellen Leavitt. They moved to Provo, Utah when he was 12 years old. He was the youngest of 9 children. Lyman was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and married Mom in the Salt Lake Temple for time and all eternity. He graduated from Utah Technical College, now Utah Valley University, and worked at Hill Air Force Base as an Electronic Technician till he retired. Dad was clever and resourceful.

Dad joined the JayCee’s civic organization upon moving into their home in Kaysville where they lived for over 50 years and raised their family. Dad was known for his sense of humor despite several debilitating conditions that he patiently endured virtually all of his adult life. He loved to make people happy and whistle a happy tune. Dad had a way of always looking on the bright side.

Lyman is survived by his wife, AnnaMae; children Lyman, Marc (Debra), Barbara (Joe) Batin, Kami Hanson, Julie Dudley, and Kathy (Dave) Driggs, and daughter-in-law Ginger Moulton, 14 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; and siblings Lee and Bill. He was preceded in death by his parents, his son David and his siblings Van, Ada Taylor, Wendell, Tom, Louie Justet, and Joseph. Nothing was more important to Lyman than his family and he loved his children dearly.

The entire Moulton family expresses their gratitude to many wonderful friends and neighbors who have given their love and support, as well as to doctors, nurses and others who skillfully cared for him during his final days.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday February 26th, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Kaysville Crestwood Chapel, 1039 Crestwood Kaysville. Friends may visit with family during the viewing in the Relief Society room that morning from 9:30 to 10:30.

Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery.
