Lynda Louise DeVries

Lynda Louise DeVries passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2010 with her family by her side.

She was born March 18, 1944 in Ogden, Utah the daughter of Gerald Clemon Fowler and Myrle Vivian Dixon.

Lynda married Robert Stanley DeVries on November 17, 1961.

Mom loved spending time with her children, granddaughter, Tara and great-grandchildren, Sabrina, Karma and Kolby.

Lynda is survived by her husband, Bob, Roy; sons, Todd (Kathy) DeVries, Layton; Troy DeVries, Roy; Tim (Jeanetta) DeVries, West Point; Tauna (Mark) Baker, Roy; one granddaughter, Tara (Rod) Horning; siblings, Sally Steglich, Joyce (LaVar) Williams, Brent (Sandy) Fowler and Jeff (Melanie) Fowler.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Pam Fowler, and her soul-mate, Cory Dunn.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, February 27th at 2:00 p.m. at Lindquist''s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South.

Friends and family may call Saturday from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. at the mortuary.

Inurnment, Roy City Cemetery, at a later date to be announced.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in the name of Bob DeVries at the Bank of Utah.

Cremation under the direction of Lindquist''s Crematory.
