Lynette Neville Lewis, 59, passed away on December 24, 2013. She was born in Ogden, Utah on February 17, 1954 to Norris Marrell and Phyllis Lucille Campbell Neville. She grew up in Pleasant View, graduated from Weber High School, and attended Weber State College.
She married Richard Ray Lewis on August 2, 1973 in the Manti LDS Temple. They moved to Pleasant View where they have lived for the past 23 years.
Lynette was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served faithfully in many callings including in the Stake Relief Society and Stake Primary, and as the ward Webelos Leader, Nursery, and Library Worker.
She enjoyed working and serving with the City of Pleasant View Police Department for 22 years. At the time of her passing she was in charge of Animal Control and a school crossing guard.
She loved Christmas. She loved the Christmas trees and the decorations. She enjoyed gardening, but her greatest joy was her 13 grandchildren.
Lynette is survived by her loving husband, Richard Lewis, Pleasant View; sons, R. Benjamin (Conni) Lewis, Ogden; and Landon M. (Jenna) Lewis, Pleasant View; daughters, Shylo L. (James) Carr, Baldwin, Wisconsin; and Mauree (Jeff) North, South Weber; her 13 grandchildren; brother, Raymond J. (Jodi) Neville, Manhattan, MT; and sister, H. Michele (Mike) Anglesey, North Ogden.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, N. Mondell Neville.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the Pleasant View Stake Center, 2975 North 1000 West. Friends may visit with family at the church on Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Services entrusted to Lindquist''s North Ogden Mortuary.
Interment, Ben Lomond Cemetery, North Ogden.
