Lynn Rulon Cannon
Lynn Rulon Cannon passed away on Oct 22, 2021, at Davis Medical Hospital in Layton, Utah. Lynn was a loving husband, model father that every man should strive to be, and loyal friend to many.
Lynn was born on December 4, 1951, to Rulon and Norma Cannon in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was raised in Sugarhouse, lived in Seattle Washington for 18 years, and spent the remainder of his life in Kaysville and Layton Utah.
He worked for Boeing for over 30 years in both Washington and Utah as a drafter for ICBM’s. Lynn was an avid gardener, huge history buff, enjoyed aircraft through his many years working at Boeing and was very involved with his children through their sports and academics.
Lynn was a devout member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and held many callings throughout his service to the Lord.
Lynn is survived by his Wife Ramona, Children Randee (Phil), Jake, Ashlee, and Spencer. Stepchildren Dustin (Sheana), Chris, and Lindsey. Lynn was a proud and loving grandfather of eight grandchildren.
A private funeral service for family and close friends, due to COVID, will be held on October 27, 2021, at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Rd., Layton, Utah.
The family would also like to thank the medical staff at Davis Hospital for their professional and caring treatment of Lynn during his final days. Lynn will be greatly missed by his family and friends, through his caring nature, dad jokes, never-ending patience, and great spirit, but we know through his faith, that he lives on, and we will see him again.
