Lynn Albert Fielding, 66, passed away peacefully, Friday, April 3, 2009 following an extended illness.

He was born September 15, 1942 to Albert John and Ortell Heslop Fielding in Ogden, Utah and grew up in Hooper. After graduation from Weber High school he attended Weber State College.

Lynn was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. After serving an LDS mission to Hawaii, he served in the United States Air Force Reserve.

He was married to Linda Holmes on September 15, 1966 and together they had three sons. They were later divorced. On April 12, 1993, Lynn married Sherrie Richards.

He worked in sales and was employed by Sears and Layton Hills Dodge.

He loved the outdoors, where he was an avid fisherman and hunter.

Lynn is survived by three sons, Michael (Dawn), Chad (Marla), and Blake, all of West Haven; a sister, Sheryl, of Hooper; two step-children, Brian Richards and Lisa (Fen) Malloy; and 13 grandchildren, Riachle, Reagen, Tyler, Courtney, Catie, Trenden, Kiersten, Brielle, Camren, Mitchal, Alexis, Ally and Wyatt.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Sherrie.

Michael, Chad, and Blake extend their love and sincere appreciation to Sheryl for her dedication and selfless devotion in caring for Dad. The family also expresses their dearest thanks to Lynn''s cousin, Lee, and to all of his caregivers in the medical profession.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, April 7th at 11 a.m. at the Hooper Cemetery, 5290 South 6300 West.

Family and friends may call Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist''s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South.
