SO. OGDEN - Lynn Charles Woodward, 75, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 23, 2010. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
Lynn was born on November 24, 1934, in Ogden, Utah. The son of Charles Henry and Marion Brown Woodward.
On September 24, 1953, he married his high school sweetheart, Lois Hart, in Ogden, Utah. The marriage was later solemnized in the Ogden Temple.
Dad began his electrical career at Chase Electric then went on to establish his own business, Lynn Woodward Electric. After retirement, he continued as a quotes estimator at CED Electric.
During the cold winters of Utah, Lynn and Lois would reside in Mesquite Nevada. He had many friends. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Dad''s greatest love was his family. He enjoyed the mountains, his dog LuLu, woodworking, sports, and sharing everything with his grandkids. Lynn is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Lois, his children, Lynnette (Steve) Welker, Diane (Bruce) Jardine, Craig (Vicki) Woodward, Charles (Lynn) Woodward, along with nine grandchildren Ryan, Collin, Candice, Lyndsey, Tucker, Jenna, Cody, Tess and Gage, and five great-grandchildren with one on the way.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, and one brother.
Funeral Services will be Thursday, August 26, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
Friends may visit the family on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 10 to10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.
Interment is at Corinne Cemetery
