M. BOYD JENSEN

1934-2016

M. Boyd Jensen, age 82, beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great-Grandfather, passed away on June 22, 2016.  Boyd was born in Murray, Utah on May 31, 1934.

Boyd grew up in Idaho and Cresent, Utah.  He married Margaret Louise Brown on June 20, 1953 in Murray, Utah.  They were later sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

Boyd was a master brick layer for many years.  He joined the Utah Highway Patrol where he served  bravely.  After he retired, he served as Bailiff in the Davis County Courts.  He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

He loved Sports!!  He enjoyed watching every one of them with his sons and attended as many of his grandchildren’s activities as possible.

Boyd is survived by his children; Julie (John) Waite of Canton, Michigan, Tammy (Rick) Boyce of Layton, Michael Jensen of Farmington, Monte (Gretta) Jensen of NSL.  He adored his 15 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren.  Also survived by brother, Johnny Val ( Karen) Jensen.  Boyd was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Marge, his parents and three grandsons.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am Monday, June 27th at the Farmington South Stake Center, 695 S. 200 E. Farmington, UT.  Friends may visit Sunday evening from 6-8 pm at Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary 727 N. 400 E. Bountiful and Monday from 9:30-10:30 am prior to the service at the Stake Center.  Interment Farmington Cemetery.  Condolences may be shared at www.lindquistmortuary.com
