Mabel Fawn McBride, 74, died Friday, July 11, 2008 at Ogden Regional Medical Center.
She was born November 12, 1933 in Hyrum, Utah, a daughter of Helmuth Leslie and Afton Irene Eckersley McBride. She was raised and educated in Ogden.
Fawn was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She retired from Hill Air Force Base where she worked as an administrative assistant.
Fawn was an avid golfer and bowler. She loved sports and felt she knew the players as though they were her family. She loved the Utah Jazz, Denver Broncos and the Colorado Rockies. Fawn was a caregiver to many and survived cancer twice. She was very charitable and generous to all who needed it.
Surviving are one brother, Cleve L. McBride, Roy; her nephews and niece who were like children and grandchildren to her: Michael McBride, Todd (Lisa) McBride, and Alisa Mosley, and her special friends, Marie Beard, Diana Price, Diane Larsen, and Barbara Ferguson.
Fawn was preceded in death by her parents, one nephew Cory, and great-nephew, McCall.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
Friends may call at the mortuary on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday 9:45 to 10:45 a.m.
Interment, Lindquist''s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
