CLEARFIELD/CLINTON a€" Mable Berchtold Jepperson, beloved mother and friend passed away on Saturday, August 18, 2012 at the age of 98.

She was born on Flag Day, June 14, 1914 in Bear River City, Utah. She was raised and educated in Box Elder County, where she graduated from Bear River High School.

Mable married her high school sweetheart, Don Jepperson on November 3, 1933, in Ogden, Utah. They moved to Brigham City for 10 years where Don operated a service station and purchased a home. They later moved to Clearfield where Don worked at Hill Air Force Base retiring as an electronics analyst.

They loved camping, hunting and fishing which they pursued until his death in 1997.

She worked in the Davis School District for years and then went to work for Smith''s Food King where she retired after 10 years.

Mable was an active member of Clearfield Community Church, serving the church in many capacities.

She was a charter member of Beth Arabah Chaper #24, Order of the Eastern Star, and held several high offices in the order through the years and was a member until her death.

Mable is survived by her son, Michael (Camille); grandson, Barrett (Maria) Jepperson; niece, Karen Phulps and nephew, James Clark.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two sisters, and brother.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, August 24, 2012 at 11 a.m. at the Clearfield Community Church, 200 South 500 East, Clearfield. Friends may visit with family on Thursday from 6 to 7 p.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.

Interment, Lindquist''s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in honor of the wonderful staff of, Country Pines Charitable Fund, 1748 West 1800 North, Clinton, UT 84015 or Legacy Healthcare, 3135 North Fairfield Rd. Ste, Layton UT 84041.
