Madelene M. Valenzuela was born on July 11, 1943 in Lumberton, New Mexico to Jose and Lugarda Valdez and passed away at her home in Ogden surrounded by family on December 29, 2018.

Madi is survived by three sons: Vincent (Angie), Piedmont, OK; Anthony Valdez, Cusick, WA; Leonires (Jovanna) Martinez, Jr., Ogden, UT; three daughters: Melissa Aviles, Ogden, UT; Michelle (Sam) Salas, Layton, UT; MariLynn (Antonio) Barrios, Ogden, UT; 15 grandchildren, in which Tristan Gonzales, Antonio Salas and Leonires Martinez III were very special to her but she loved them all; 12 great-grandchildren, whom she adored tremendously; seven sisters; five brothers; numerous nieces and nephews. Madelene was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, and her sweet grandson, Jory.

Our mom, grandma, nana, sister, aunt and friend will be greatly missed by all.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, December 31, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road, South Ogden.
