Madeline Claire Woolley
Madeline Claire Woolley was born January 25, 2020. She was born unassisted, attended by her brave mama, daddy, siblings, and ancestors in her family’s RV at Thousand Trails Orlando in Clermont, Florida. Her birth had a reputation well known throughout the fulltime RV community and everywhere after her surprise birth announcement. Although nameless for the first month of her life, she was affectionately called “Baby” and “Baby Girl”. It was decided she be named after her angel-born aunt, Madeline Ann Woolley. Madeline Claire Woolley, going by Claire, she was then given a variety of nicknames, Claire Bear, Clairey Berry, Clarita Bonita, Baby Sister, Buggy Boo, Pumpkin “Punkie”, and Baby Girl. McKenna was convinced she was a boy throughout her entire pregnancy with Claire. What a lovely surprise she was!
Claire’s life was filled with many adventures and much growth. Before her birth, she visited 22 states and after her birth 3 states. She experienced the ocean and snow, camping and boating, and snow tubing in Idaho. Claire spent the summer in Utah but remained a true “Daddy’s Girl” by crawling for the first time via Face Time with her daddy, Phil. She learned American Sign Language for “milk” and “all done”. Her favorite word was “Dada” but never would say, “Mama”. She learned to safely go down the stairs and to walk several steps a few times. Claire was a true vagabond, never having a “permanent home”. She was a good sleeper, always sleeping through the night and taking sporadic naps during the day while going with the flow, tagging along with her siblings to meet-ups with friends and home school groups. She only gently fussed when she was hungry, ready to sleep, or if she needed a diaper change, she’d just follow you around until you changed her. Claire was an intelligent infant and had a knowing about her.
Our sweet Claire was always happy and would light up anyone who met her! She would bounce on her knees and reach up with both arms when she wanted to be held. She would smile at anyone and everyone even when she couldn’t see their entire face at the grocery store. She truly wasn’t afraid of anything…except, maybe a couple of her Uncles.
Claire has touched thousands of lives and hearts through her life and her death. She will forever remain a light to others. She is now helping prepare the world for the Savior’s Second Coming. Although mighty in spirit, Claire was too little to do the work she needed to do here in mortality. She is helping to prepare her family for their roles in the gathering of Israel.
Claire was received on the other side of the veil by her Great-Grandparents and very recently passed a few weeks preceding, Grandma Scadlock; many children of light including Aunt Madeline and many other family members who had ushered her in to this world. She is survived by her parents, Philip and McKenna Woolley; her brother Emerson; and her sister Eleanor. She is also survived by her loving grandparents, Cole and Jacqueline Woolley, Andrew and Lori Ehat, aunts, uncles, and many adoring cousins; Claire having been the youngest of all of them.
