Marcel Scott Strebel

Our loving son, brother and uncle Marcel Scott Strebel passed away Saturday, September 22, 2012 at the age of 49. He was born on June 26, 1963 to Sharon Strebel and Jim Stegan. At the age of 3 he was adopted, by his dad, Michael Strebel, who loved and cared for him as if he were his own.

He graduated from Roy High School and became a skilled ironworker. He was a very gifted artist whose drawings were beautiful works of art. He could create anything out of steel, iron or wood.

Scotty never let a stray cat or kitten go unfed or be left out in the cold, his love for these furry little creatures was out of this world.

Scott will be loved and missed by his parents, Michael and Sharon Strebel, and Jim Stegan; sister, Kim (Rob) Thiel; niece, Kalee (Tim) Pentz; nephew, Michael Kolby (Christina) Thiel; a very special Uncle Bob and Dolores Strebel; brother, Shane Stegan and his loving girlfriend Theresa Baird; and he will be missed by numerous aunts and uncles and his little furry friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Paul and Erma Strebel, Marcel and Melba Sparrow; Aunt Joyce, Aunt Pat and her husband Bill.

Gravesides services will be held on Saturday, September 29, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
