Marcia V. Quinney

Marcia V. Quinney LAYTON – Marcia V. Quinney passed away on June 6, 2008 at the age of 66 of respiratory failure. She married Grant (Bud) Quinney Jr. on June 22, 1963. They later divorced. Marcia spent her life as a dedicated nurse for over 45 years. Marcia was one of God’s angels here on earth. Survived by sons, Scott (Patti), Layton, UT; Eric (Jennylin), Lyman, WY; daughters, Jennifer (Mark) Remy, Arvada, CO; Beth Quinney, Layton, UT; Sara (David) Jones, Oxford, OH and 1 sister, Brenda (Ron) Dunlap, Santa Rosa, CA and her 12 grandchildren she will be missed by all. Funeral service will be held Saturday, June 14, 2008 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Chapel, 1867 North Fairfield Road. Friends and family may call Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 North Fairfield Road. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations may be made to Intermountain Healing Hearts, P.O. Box 581306, Salt Lake City, UT 84158 on behalf of her grandson Bryson who was born with several congenital heart defects. The family would like to thank the many Doctors and Nurses at the University of Utah Hospital for the wonderful care she received.
