"Together Again"

Maretta Livingston Jeffs, 87, passed away Saturday, June 6, 2015, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born April 26, 1928 in Shelley, Idaho, to Emerett Millar and Mark Fackrell. She never met her dad because he was killed in an accident 13 days before her birth. Her mother remarried a great man, Glenn Wiser, who raised Maretta as his own. She had four brothers and five sisters. She was raised in Lewiston, Utah and graduated from North Cache High School, where she was the drum majorette.

Maretta met the love of her life, George Lowry Livingston and they were married March 12, 1948 in the Logan LDS Temple. She was devastated when she lost him to cancer in 1998. They had four children whom she loved and cherished with all her heart.

She worked for many years at H.A.F.B., retiring in 1977.

Maretta and George were co-owners, along with their son Mark Livingston, of Country Garden Restaurant in Clearfield.

She had 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren that she doted over anytime she could see them.

On January 2, 1999 she married Clive Jeffs and she lost him to cancer in 2010. Maretta was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she held many positions. She also served a mission with Clive in St. George, Utah. She loved to travel with George and Clive. She was able to see most of the United States and parts of Europe.

Maretta is survived by four children, Janet (Lee) Feeney, Mark Livingston, Brad Livingston (Charla Haney), and Marcia Lunneberg; siblings, Wendell (Priscilla) Wiser, Farrell (NaDene) Wiser, Cordell (Ruth) Wiser, Cara Lou (Lee) Vance, Maxine Cummings, Lois Riggs, Margaret Livingston, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, baby brother, Roland, baby sister, Emma Jean, sisters, Shirley Orchard and Louise Kiholm.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at the Stone Creek Ward Chapel, 3628 South 2700 West, West Haven. The family will meet with friends on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South and Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church.

Interment, Clearfield City Cemetery.
