Margaret Ann Christensen Bott
August 21, 1952-February 19, 2018
Margaret was born to Allie and Fred Christensen in Ephraim, Utah. She married David Bott, March 14, 1975 in the Salt Lake Temple. Margaret was an amazing teacher at several elementary schools, and also working in special education programs. She loved working with children every day and had a lot of patience and love for them. Margaret served in various positions in the LDS church, some of the callings that she enjoyed most were primary president, pianist, cub scouts and anything involving children. Margaret volunteered in many positions in her community; she was the PTA president at her children’s school and volunteered at the local hospitals helping in any capacity that was needed. Margaret lived a life of service and love for others. She was often found helping the elderly, the widows and anyone who needed anything. She was happiest while serving others.
Margaret is survived by her children Jen (Jeff) Fisher, Travis (Angela) Bott, Natalie (Timothy) Brackens, Brigette (Layne) Rushworth, Zack (Jody) Bott, Brandon Bott, 20 beautiful grand children, and one great grandchild who were the joy and happiness of her life. Also survived by brothers Mac Christensen, Mike Christensen, Marcus Christensen, sister Maud Thurman. Preceded in death by her parents, a son Jeremy Bott and grandson Kael Rushworth.
Viewing will be held Friday February 23, 2018 at the Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N. 400 E. from 6-8 p.m. and Saturday morning from 9:30-10:30 a.m., followed by the funeral at 11:00 am, at the LDS Church located at 7645 South 3200 West in West Jordan Utah, Interment at the Bountiful City Cemetery.
