Margaret Nevalee Wampler Gibson

CLEARFIELD - Margaret Nevalee Wampler Gibson, 89, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 4, 2011 at her home.

She was born September 24, 1921 to James Earl and Iva Rea Wampler in Omaha, Arkansas.

She attended school in the Ozark graduating with high honors with a business degree.

Nevalee served in the United States Army and later received an honorable discharge.

On June 9, 1944 she married Sanders Boyd Gibson together they had two children, Gerald Lynn Gibson and a daughter who was premature and passed away two days later. Years later they divorced.

She worked for R.C. Willey''s as an accountant and retiring after 18 years.

Nevalee is survived by her sister-in-laws Edith Wampler, Christine Carter, brother-in-law, Joel Gibson and nephews Blaine (Carol) Wampler.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Clark Wampler, daughter and son Gerald.

A family and friend gathering will be held Friday, February 11, 2011 from 11 to 12 p.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
