Margaret Leone Grimsby
OGDEN a" Margaret Leone Grimsby, born February 27, 1927 at the old Dee Hospital, died at Mt. Ogden Care Center in Washington Terrace on Monday, October 25, 2010 of leukemia and emphysema.
A daughter of Leone Skeen and Patsy Arvil Bingham, she grew up in Weber County and married Samuel Grimsby while he was stationed at Hill Air Force Base in 1950. They were stationed a great many places ranging from Japan (twice) to Spain and quite a few places in between. Travel was one of the great joys of Margaret''s life. They retired back here to Ogden where it all began.
Margaret is survived by her son, Michael (Connie) Grimsby, two grandchildren, Amanda (Rod) Myers and Aaron (Athene) Grimsby, one great-grandchild, Gracie Lynn Myers, and her brother, Delmar J. "Jim" (Cathy) Bishop.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and her husband.
The family would like to thank the staff of Mt. Ogden Care and Applegate Hospice for making her final time as pleasant as possible, and Dr. Nameer Qader for coordinating her health care with both professionalism and compassion.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road.
Family will visit with family at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd., on Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
