Margaret Haas Hammerle
Welcomed with open arms was Margaret Haas Hammerle in the early morning hours of May 19, 2007. She left peacefully and with a great anticipation of reuniting with all of her loved ones. A life of vivaciousness and laughter now begins somewhere else. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Margaret was born on March 31, 1936 to Karoline and Karl Haas in Worms, Germany. She grew up in Germany and attended school in Worms where she completed her 18 years of schooling and two years trade school majoring in accounting. She later attended the LDS business college in Salt Lake City, Utah.
She married Norbert Hammerle on June 19, 1953 in Worms. They lived together in Germany for three more years and came to America in 1956. They moved to Kaysville in 1962 and have since resided in the same house. Together they had four children.
Margaret is survived by her husband, Norbert Hammerle, Kaysville; brother, Klaus Haas, Germany; children, Brandon Hammerle, Ogden; Fritz Hammerle and (wife Jackie Kelly), Layton; Linda Elliott and (fiancAC. Boyd Layne), Kaysville; and Benny and (wife Kathy) Hammerle, Ogden. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Ryan and Melissa Elliott, Brian, Jamie, Nick and Emily Hammerle, Kyla Clark and one cherished great-grandchild, Mia Grace Elliott.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, Karoline and Karl, and her beloved granddaughter, Nichole.
Friends and family are welcome to attend a memorial service that will be held Thursday, May 31, 2007 at 11 a.m. at the Kaysville 12th Ward, 1039 E. Crestwood Road with Bishop Larry W. Page, officiating.
