Places Lived: Born and raised in Taber, Alberta where she worked hard on her father’s farm. Margaret then lived in Bristol England for one and a half years while serving a LDS mission. After returning home, she spent a year at school in Rexburg Idaho and finished her LPN degree at BYU in Provo, Utah, where she met her husband. Together Margaret and Clarence lived in various cities in Utah, California, and Wyoming before returning to live in Utah again.
Hobbies: Margaret's hobbies included family history, road trips with family, buying and making jewelry, photography and spending time with her family.
Margaret is survived by her children: Jeffrey Conrad Kemp, Michael Conrad Kemp, Mary Elizabeth Losee, Rebecca Anne Kemp; grandson: Andrew Losee; Siblings: John Clyde Conrad (Ellen), Ruth Ann Payne (Nolan), Perry Ross Conrad (Ellisa), Marie Ida Macy (Steven) and sister in law Rosa Conrad.
Preceded in death by: her husband Clarence Spafford Kemp; parents: Clyde Arthur Conrad and Beulah Harding Conrad; brother: Harold Arthur Conrad and her father in law, Clarence William Kemp.
Margaret was a dedicated and loving wife and mother, with a unique wit, sense of humor, and love of adventure. Even Though funerals are a time of sadness as we contemplate those we have lost, we should also remember the love and good times we shared with our family and friends.
Services: A viewing will be held at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary on Tuesday the 14th from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. (1867 N Fairfield Road, Layton UT.) On Wednesday, May 15th there will be a viewing at the LDS church (380 S Fairfield Road, Layton UT) from 9:30 to 10:30 am, followed by funeral services at 11:00am.
Interment: Thursday, May 16, 2019 at 11:00 am (Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 S. Redwood Rd,West Jordan, Utah).
