OGDEN a€" Margaret LaVon Kirton, 90, died Thursday, September 3, 2009 at Thatcher Brook Care Center in Davis County.

She was born October 26, 1918 in Ogden, a daughter of Morris and Chrystabell Averett Brady.

Margaret was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

She loved to sew, knit and crochet. Margaret was a huge Dallas Cowboy Football Fan, and Utah Jazz Basketball fan. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandkids.

Surviving are two sons, Thomas Bingham, Redwood, CA; Rod Kirton, Roy; two daughters, Carole (Harry) Keil, North Ogden; Marlee (Ron) Barrett, Layton; her summer daughter (niece), Patricia Trappe, San Ramon, CA; 17 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are one brother, Dr. Douglas (Liz) Marberger, Uintah; three sisters, Shirley Montgomery, Clinton; Indra Louise Dow, South Ogden; and Charlene McKenzie, Layton.

Preceding Margaret in death were her parents, brother, James Marberger, her sisters, Maxine Perez, Blanche Ure and her grandson, Todd Osterberg.

Memorial services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington.

Family will meet with friends at the mortuary on Wednesday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m.
