1940-2014

Margaret Osofa'inatauaomalo Young, 73, was surrounded by loved ones in her Bountiful home when she returned peacefully to our Heavenly Father on January 30, 2014. She was born on November 13, 1940 in Fagatogo, American Samoa to Togotogo Tuita'u and Alatasi Ta'amu Tuaolo. She was the eighth of 11 children and was later happily married to Christopher Leiesilika Young.

She is survived by her husband, Chris; her four children: Dwight, Anita (Chris), Emily and Newly (Sonja); her grandchildren: Emily "Suki", Lorenzo, Denzo, Letoa, Tofilau, Talalelei, Christopher, Joyce, Judy and Cato; her great grandchild: Aden; and her many nieces and nephews.

Margaret’s strong faith and trust in the Lord is what gave her hope and strength to endure the harsh and cumbersome treatments of dialysis for 22 years. On behalf of Margaret, we offer our deepest appreciation to the aides, nurses and technicians from Utah Dialysis, Liberty Dialysis, Tender Care, and Caring Hands for providing the upmost quality care, comfort and kindness towards her. She will be greatly missed but her sweet uplifting spirit, her example, her love and her faith will never be forgotten. We love you "Nana"!  “Families are Forever.”

Funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Friday, February 7, 2014 at Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N. 400 E.  where friends may visit family from 9-10:45 am prior to services.  Interment Bountiful City Cemetery.
