Margaretta Aten

Margaretta (Livada) Aten, age 74, passed away unexpectedly on, Monday, December  4, 2017 in Utah.  Marge, to those who knew her, was born in East Liverpool, OH, on December 6, 1942 to the late Rudolph and Katherine (Kolorich) Livada Sr.  She grew up in Hookstown Pa, graduating from South Side High School.  She then lived in the Moon/Bon Meade area until making her way to Clinton, Utah.  She was preceded in death by her husband Richard Aten, in 1983.

Marge was retired from Northrup Grumman, after many years of service.  During her retirement she enjoyed volunteering at the Antelope Island Nature Center.

She is survived by her sons; Brett Darner of Clinton Utah, and Stephen (Kathy) Darner of Rupert Idaho; granddaughters Kayden, and Shelby Darner.   Also surviving Marge are her brothers: Michael (Joann) Livada, Burgettstown PA and Bernie (Joann) Livada, Paducah KY.  Her sister Anne Speicher of Aliquippa, PA; and sister-in-law Dorothy Livada of Hookstown PA,  as well as many nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death are her sisters and brother-in-laws :  Elizabeth(Tony) Pivac; Mary (Cramer) Gamble; and Violet and Bill Zrelak.  brothers and sister-in-laws:  George (Ann) Biscan;  Emil (Gloria) Biscan;  Rudolph Livada Jr. and brother-in-law Edward Speicher.

Leaving those who love her, much too soon, she will be greatly missed, and forever in our hearts.

Visitation will be held at Copeland’s , Moon Township, 981 Brodhead Rd. on  Tuesday from 3-8 PM. Funeral Service Wednesday 11:00 AM in the funeral home followed by Interment in Resurrection Cemetery.
