She is survived by her children Dan (Debi) Wheatley of Ogden, Timm (Beverly) Wheatley of Albuquerque, Lori Ann (Don) Davis Of Texas. Dean (Kaylynn) Smith of Roy, Troy Smith of Roy. Also survived by her sister Cleone Moore of Roy.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 13, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at the Kaysville City Cemetery, 500 South Crestwood Road, Kaysville, Utah, where Margene will be interred next to her sweetheart Duane.
