Margery “Marie” Booth Neville Margery “Marie” Booth Neville, our beloved wife, mother and grandmother, passed away on Monday, November 23, 2009, in Kaysville, Utah. Margery was born July 6, 1922, in Provo, Utah, to Edith Harriett Young and Alfred Lewis Booth. She married Donald Neville 53 years ago in the Salt Lake Temple on November 21, 1956. Margery grew up in Provo, Utah, attended Utah State University, and graduated from Brigham Young University. She served a mission in Norway. She worked at Bushnell General Hospital, Hickam Air Force Base in Hawaii, Clearfield Naval Supply Depot and Hill Air Force Base. Margery enjoyed traveling and writing and was excited when she published her autobiography. She loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. She was a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers and a great-granddaughter of Brigham Young. She had a kind heart and was a good friend. She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Margery was preceded in death by both parents, brother (Thornton), sisters (Editha, Leona) and a grandson, (Donald James). She is survived by her husband; children, Donald E. Neville (Cindy), Nanette Mecham (David), Marie Follett (Jay), Marilyn Neville; grandchildren, (Melissa, Spencer, Stuart, Scott, Christopher, Brent, Tavia, Brecklyn, Jared, Torryn); and sisters (Virginia, Phyllis). Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 28, 2009 at 11 a.m. at the Kaysville Gailey Park Ward, 331 So. 50 W. Friends and family may call Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road and Saturday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the church. Interment, Bountiful City Cemetery. If desired, donations may be made to the perpetual education fund or favorite charity, in lieu of flowers.
