Margie Johnson Bachman

November 23, 1927- March 30, 2017

Our beloved Mom, Gram, Gigi, Sister, Aunt, and friend Margie Johnson Bachman, 89, passed away peacefully from this life Thursday evening, March 30, 2017, to join her eternal companion, Mark Bachman in heaven.  She was born on November 23, 1927, at home in Caldwell, ID to Cyrus and Maude Elizabeth Johnson, the tenth child of the Johnson “dirty dozen”.  She married her best friend Mark Bachman on July 3, 1947 and was sealed for time and all eternity on June 7, 1974.  Mark passed away on August 10, 1992.  Margie worked at Lee’s Candies in Boise, ID for 20 years, which she loved and her customers loved her.

Margie was a wonderful person, beautiful inside and out.  She showed love to everyone who met her, especially her family and friends.  She loved camping in Donnelly, ID, riding motorcycles, traveling to fun and exciting places with her family, and catching up with family and friends over a good meal. 

Margie adored her children and they loved her dearly.  She was a great example and blessing to them, providing them with a legacy that will accompany them for life as seeds of everlasting love.  Her love, her bright smile, her kisses and hugs overcame any physical distance, and she was always there for her family.   

Margie is survived by her children: Wendy and Michael Weathers, UT; grandchildren, Rebecca and Michael Farr, TX; and great-grandchildren, Michaela, Greyson, and Harper Farr; sister Beth (Stan) Whitney, ID; brother Bill Johnson, ID; and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband Mark, six brothers and three sisters.  Margie is currently enjoying a joyous reunion with these and many other family members and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Dakan Funeral Chapel, 504 S. Kimball Ave, Caldwell , Idaho. 

Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
