Margie Ann Nay

Margie Anne Nay passed away peacefully Wednesday August 12, 2009 in her home of natural causes.

She was born September 9, 1927 in Colorado. She married Herschel Parker Nay on June 1, 1946 and lived in Washington Terrace. They had one son Herschel Duane (Kellie), three grandchildren Shelise (Scott) Hunter, Jennie (Chad) Buttars, and Mckael (Travis "Cubby") Coates and five great-grandchildren, Hayzen, Hudson, Houston, Brock, and Brooklyn.

Margie always was so good and supportive to her grand-girls living next door and always looking out for them. She would cook our special breakfast then Grandpa walked us to school, even when we were old enough to go by ourselves.

She always had a spark about her telling crazy stories about her and Grandpa''s life together dancing and getting into trouble. She loved watching Football and preparing snacks for the guys. She loved reading the paper in the morning with her coffee and Oreo''s. She never missed an episode of "Days of Our Lives". In her last few days, her dream of turning in the long grey hair to become a sassy red head came true.

Margie is preceded in death by her mother Irene, and loving husband H.P. (Herschel Parker Nay).

Graveside services will be held Monday, August 17, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Lindquist Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.

Friends and family may call Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary.
