Margie C. Pilcher
OGDEN – Margie Carol Richards Pilcher, 88, died Wednesday, August 6, 2008 at Washington Terrace Health Services.
She was born December 25, 1919 in Spring Canyon, Utah, a daughter of Daniel D. and Violet Rosquist Richards.
Margie married Lindsay Warden Wilbur. He died in June of 1942. She married Gene Lyle Wood. They later divorced. In 1949, Margie married Lawrence Ray Pilcher. Lawrence preceded her in death.
She lived in the Ogden area most of her life.
Margie was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She retired from Hill Air Force Base following many years of service.
Surviving are one son, R. Dean Wilbur, Cincinnati, OH; two daughters, Lynda Wood (Mark) Perry, Fresno, CA; Lynnette Pilcher Edwards, Ocala, FL; son-in-law, John Remey, Honolulu, HI; daughter-in-law, Linda Pilcher, Ogden; 13 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Also surviving are two sisters, Mary R. Clark, Colorado Springs, CO; Narma Ruth Santos, Stockton, CA; and her brother-in-law, Russel Myers, Washington Terrace.
Preceding Margie in death were her parents, her husband, son, Larry E. Pilcher, daughter, Carrolyn W. Remey, grandson, Cray P. Edwards, brothers, Blaine, Doyle, Johnny, and Lloyd Richards, and one sister, Barbara Myers.
The family expresses special thanks to Sarah and Chelsea with Hearts for Hospice and Washington Terrace Health Services.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
Friends may call at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd., on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m.
