Margo Winther Bale unexpectedly died the morning of September 23, 2016 in her home in Layton, Utah at the age of 78.
Margo volunteered much time and effort to, “Caps for Kids.” She knitted over 10,000 hats for children across the state. She also volunteered her time reading to children at Crest Hill School and served in many other volunteer roles throughout her life. Margo recently moved to Utah, to live and spend time with her youngest son John. Margo loved working in her yard and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her three children: Ken of Casper, WY; Lee Ann of Dillingham, AK; John of Layton, UT; and brother, John Winther of Orinda, CA; and nine grandchildren.
A celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, October 6, 2016 at 6:30 p.m. at the Casper Elks Lodge (108 E 7th St.).
