Maria A. Mutsaers Roest

After a long battle with Alzheimer''s Disease, the Lord took our dear wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Maria A. Mutsaers Roest, to heaven. She was born May 22, 1937 in Tilburg, Holland to Cornelius and Anna VanderStappen Mutsaers.

The family came to the United States in 1959, where she met Hendrikus Roest. They were married September 29, 1962 in St. Joseph''s Catholic Church.

She leaves behind her husband and seven children, Hank and Robyn Roest, Poulsbo, WA; Jerry and Debbie Roest , North Ogden, UT; Margaret and Paul Burkley, Kennewick, WA; Theresa and Mike Duncan, West Point, UT; Robert and Debbi Roest , Fort Worth, TX; Tony and Sunny Roest , Roy, UT; Andrew Roest and Julianne Harris, Smithfield, UT; 13 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, and one brother and six sisters, Bart Mutsaers, AZ; Gerry DeCock, UT; Josey Keller, UT; Ellie McClain, TX; Tilly Mutsaers, UT; Annette Anderson, MO; Mary Nelson, UT.

Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, March 4, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 1100 East 5550 South, Ogden. Friends may visit with family on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. with Holy Rosary at 7 p.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.

Interment, Lindquist''s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road.
