Marian Davis

Marian Linford Davis was born on October 29, 1934 to Parley Abraham and Lucy Merle Hansen in Garland, Utah. She peacefully passed from this life on November 1, 2013 in Bountiful, Utah surrounded by her family.

She graduated from Bear River High School and attended Utah State University. She later met her eternal companion Robert Dee Davis, and was sealed in the Logan Temple on November 13, 1953. Marian and Bob raised their family of six children in California and Utah.

Everybody enjoyed Marian''s wonderful smile, beautiful eyes, quick wit, and sense of humor. She extended selfless service to her loving family and church. The gospel and her family were truly her passion. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

She exhibited faith, strength, courage, and endurance while challenged with Multiple Sclerosis for over 45 years.

As a faithful member of the LDS Church and with an unwavering testimony, she served with devotion in all Stake and Ward callings. Marian demonstrated what she valued most through service to her family, friends and humanitarian projects.

Marian is survived by her eternal companion Robert Davis; her children Dee (Darrelyn) Davis, Bruce (Cristy) Davis, Roberta (ElRay) Bingham, Kimberly (Randy) Treglown, Parley (Kendra) Davis, Stephanie (Jason) Anderson; 21 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by Jana (grand-daughter) and Randy (son-in-law).

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 6th at the Bountiful 25th Ward Chapel, 1500 South 600 East Bountiful. Friends may visit family Tuesday, November 5th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Lindquist''s Bountiful Mortuary 727 North 400 East Bountiful and Wednesday 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. prior to the service at the church.
