Marie S. Beasley

Marie S. Beasley OGDEN – Marie Slack Beasley, 53, died Thursday, July 26, 2007 at her home of cancer. She was born April 27, 1954 in Henderson, Nevada, a daughter of Carlyle Edwin and Marian Lister Slack. Marie married Lyle Wayne Beasley on April 25, 1978. Lyle died November 11, 2000. She was raised in Clearfield and graduated from Clearfield High School. She then moved to Ogden where she worked at Deseret Industries. Marie was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Liberty Park Ward. She enjoyed crocheting, all types of puzzles, listening to Oldies Music, watching television and socializing with people. Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Lola Louise Beasley and Lowell Heath, Riverdale; her parents, Carlyle and Marian Slack, Toquerville, UT; sister, Susan Slack Nielson, and her brothers, Ellis Carlyle Slack, West Valley City; David Boyd Slack, Salt Lake City. She was preceded in death by one sister, Ellen Slack. Memorial services will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the Liberty Park Ward Chapel, 1050 – 21st Street (just below Harrison).
