Marie Skjothaug Cole, 92, died Jan. 24, 2016 in Murrieta, CA.

Born Aug. 8, 1923 in Williston, ND. To Ole P. and Hilda Skjothaug.  Married Burton A. Cole in 1945; he died in 1998.  She worked 21 years at Hill Air Force Base.  She moved from Utah to California in 1985.

Marie cared deeply for family, faith, and those in need.  Despite memory loss, she faced her last years with dignity and grace.  Her smile lit the room.  She was loved.

Survivors include children:  Robert A. (Marion), Oxnard, CA; Richard E., Hemet, CA; Diane (Dennis Green), Temecula, CA; Gary Thomas, Santee, CA; Rodney William (Donna Gardino), Fairbanks, AK.  Daughter Pamela Jean and brother Harold Skjothaug  preceded her in death.
