Marie Charlene Conley, age 83 of Washington Terrace, Utah, passed away on October 6, 2016 at her home.

She was born March 2, 1933 in Eden, Utah to Ben and Vera Parkinson Kapp. On June 18, 1952, she married Paul L. Conley in Clearfield, Utah. They enjoyed 62 years together.

Marie was a talented artist. She loved oil painting, craft and sewing projects, collecting dolls, and designing and painting porcelain dolls. She was very creative and filled her home with her art. She liked to go for drives up Logan Canyon and over Monte Cristo, especially in the fall when the leaves had turned. She looked forward to date night each week with Paul.

She is survived by one son, Robert Conley of Layton, Utah; three daughters, Charlene Conley of Ogden, Utah, Laura (Chris) Bruch of Great Falls, Montana, and Donett Nardone of Las Vegas, Nevada; seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Beth (Dave) Reader, and Jeannette Kapp.

Marie was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Paul L. Conley. Funeral services are to be held Thursday, October 13, 2016 at Lindquist's Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 am followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am. Internment to follow at Lindquist's Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
