Marie Evans Parke Ford "Nana" A Lovely Woman November 8, 1941 a" June 25, 2013 Our beloved "Nana", mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend returned to her Heavenly Father on June 25, 2013. She is a beautiful daughter of God and her laughter, love and kindness will be greatly missed. We will always remember her wonderful sense of humor, goodness and firm testimony of our Savior, Jesus Christ. While on earth she has been an example of courage and strength. Nana''s joys included grandchildren''s ballet recitals, band concerts and performances as well as the company of loving friends, family and travel opportunities all over the world. Nana''s study of religion and history always brought wonderful conversation and interesting observations. She lived in many wonderful places including Hawaii and France. Her adventuresome spirit led her through some amazing journeys. Here, Marie was full of light and laughter that she has carried with her to heaven. She possessed special talents in connecting with people and lifting the human spirit. Marie used her public speaking gifts in LDS church callings with young adults and in community service opportunities with at-risk youth. She treasured her time as a worker in the Salt Lake Temple. Her special love for her children, grandchildren, loving friends and family, knows no bounds and will span Eternity. Nana, we love you and know you are watching over us and you will never be far away. Her family and friends are especially grateful to the sweet and loving staff at North Canyon Care Center in Bountiful during her short stay.
