Maude Marie McKay Roth

1/10/1935 -1/25/2023

Marie was born in Salem, New Jersey to Robert McKay and Maude Simpkins.  She was raised in South Jersey, where she loved walking the boardwalk with her sister Doris.

She married Ray Roth on December 19, 1953 and they started their family and had three children.  They lived in New Jersey until 1980 when Eastern Airlines transferred them to Utah.

Marie and her husband Ray were devoted members of the LDS Church. They had a wonderful life and remained married until Ray’s passing in 2012.

Marie had many talents and made many beautiful things that will be cherished for many years to come. Her greatest joy was always her children, her six grandchildren and her three great-grandchildren.  Her smile, her hugs and her cookies will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her children Brian Roth, Sandy Roth (Reid Nelson); grandchildren Aubree Eddington, Trevor Roth, Mason Price, Amanda Price, Kaitlyn Bosley, and Jake Roth; great-grandchildren Brinleigh Smith (Roth), Hunter Bosley, and Bridger Bosley.

Preceded in death by Ray Roth, Sue Roth Price, Robert and Maude McKay, Doris Gaunett and William McKay.

Sandy and the family would like to express their deepest gratitude to South Davis Hospice, your kindness and compassion through Mom’s journey was amazing and tender.

Carly you are an angel on earth. To all social workers and Barton Creek, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
