On the morning of Saturday, November 4, 2017, Lois Marie Palmer Williams slipped into eternity while her loving husband, Blaine, sat at her bedside holding her hand.

Marie was born January 6, 1952, in Ogden, Utah, to Kenneth and Lois Palmer. She graduated from Ogden High School in 1970. Marie married Blaine Williams for time and all eternity in the Logan Utah LDS Temple on October 21, 1971. Together they made their forever home in Roy, Utah, and welcomed six children into their family.

Mom loved the holidays and always made an effort to “go all out.” She created incredible extravagant Easter egg hunts, Halloween costumes, beautifully decorated Christmas trees, and still had a way to make each family member feel uniquely special on their birthday. She was a talented seamstress and enjoyed crocheting and knitting blankets for her grandbabies.

Marie was a strong woman, after all, she raised five boys! Even as her health declined, her quick sense of humor never faded. She had an intelligent wit and loved when her boys would tease her. She knew how to give it right back! Her discernable gift for unconditional love made her a wonderful mother and friend to all of those who knew.

Marie had a strong testimony of our Savior and his plan of eternal families. It is joyous to imagine the elation Marie feels as she reunites with her parents, Ken and Lois Palmer, and her cherished five-year-old daughter, Dawn Marie.

Marie will forever be remembered and loved by her eternal companion Blaine Williams, along with their surviving sons and family: Jason (Holly), Brandon (Jacqueline), Bryon (Steve), Jeremy (Candice), Jamie (Emilee), and 11 grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers and sister: Steven (Kathy) Palmer, Bruce (Susan) Palmer, Owen Palmer, and Karen (Brian) Belnap, who, joined by their children, will lovingly treasure their sister’s memory.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 9, 2017, at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 W. 5600 S, Roy, UT. Friends may visit with the family at the mortuary Wednesday, November 8, 2017, 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
