Marilyn Elsie Ihle Bodily

Marilyn Elsie Ihle Bodily, 87, of Roy, Utah passed away Sunday, February 26, 2017.

She was born December 20, 1929 in Provo, Utah to Walter P. and Gertrude Ihle. She graduated from Salmon High School and continued on to receive a dental nurse diploma in 1949.

On September 1, 1950, Marilyn married Garth W. Bodily in the Logan LDS Temple.

She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving in many callings, including Relief Society, Primary and Ward library.

Marilyn is survived by her son, Don (Dabney) Bodily, two-step-granddaughters, Brittany Nunley, Heather Nunley, sister, Gertie Harrison, many nephews and nieces and their families. She was preceded in death by her husband, Garth, son, Steve, sister, Eleanor, brother, Richard and her parents.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, March 6, 2017 at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South. The family will meet with friends Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
