Marilyn Timothy Bone
LAYTON – Marilyn Timothy Bone passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 22, 2014.
Marilyn was born December 10, 1931 the daughter of Heber Vernon and Lavon Wilson Timothy in Roosevelt, Utah. She lived in Roosevelt, Kaysville and Layton. Graduating from Davis High School.
She married her sweetheart Wayne R Bone on May 13, 1950, in Kaysville, Utah, later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple on February 27, 1951. They raised six rambunctious boys while operating Wayne Bone & Sons Electric. Marilyn also enjoyed working at Speedi Pack and met many lifelong friends there.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and enjoyed her callings in the Relief Society and the Primary.
She loved her children and especially loved being a grandma to 22 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren.
Marilyn is survived by her husband Wayne and sons Steven, Brent (Mae), Michael (Marsha), Scott (Theresa) and James.
Preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, oldest son Gregory and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday, June 27, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the Sandsprings 2 nd Ward, 3161 W. 150 N., Layton. Friends may visit family Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road and Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church.
Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery.
