Marilyn Streeper Decaria Buehler
December 15, 1948 ~ August 22, 2017
Marilyn Streeper Decaria Buehler, 68, passed away on August 22, 2017, of cancer at home in Kaysville, UT, with family members by her side. Her loving son, Scott Decaria, was her constant caregiver and did an amazing job.
She was the first of six children born to Russell Edward and Myrle Tolman Streeper on December 15, 1948, in Ogden, UT. She is the loving sister of Shauna (Eric) Henline, Ogden; Kathy (Tom) Rhoades, Syracuse; Bill (Marilyn) Streeper, West Point; Ron (Kelly) Streeper, So. Weber; and Dave (Cleide) Streeper, Ogden.
She was always a hard worker starting her first official job picking beans and cherries during the summer when she was in junior high. She was always employed until she was in a serious car accident that left her partially disabled.
She married Stephen Decaria; they later divorced. She married Douglas Buehler. He passed away in 2012.
Marilyn was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and she believed in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Her life exemplified this by the kindness she always showed to others. She was a great example to everyone, building and keeping relationships alive. She made friends wherever she went. She loved her family and tried to keep in contact with them all.
She is survived by her son, Scott; her siblings; grandchildren, Kylee and Brayden; and great-grandson, Daxten. She is “Auntie” to many loving nieces and nephews.
