Marilyn Busico
MONTCLAIR, Calif. – Marilyn Busico, 78, passed away Monday, December 15, 2008 in
Montclair, California.
She was born March 17, 1931 in Duluth, Minnesota, a daughter of Nester Wilfred and Ethel Kinetz Mattson.
Marilyn raised her three children in California with her first husband. Later she made her home in Ogden with her late husband, Tony Busico. She worked as a dietician at St. Benedict’s Hospital.
Following Tony’s passing, she lived at Three Link Towers and the Garden Apartments in Ogden before returning to California. She spent her remaining years at Briarwood Manor in Montclair, California where she spent her time with her wonderful friends, and also her best friend, Sammy the Dog, who quickly became one of Briarwood’s favorite little guys.
Marilyn is survived by her three children, Debra Espinoza, James Canfield, and Tom Canfield, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are four sisters and one brother.
She will be dearly missed by her friends and family but we know she has gone home where she has been patiently waiting to reunite with her beloved Tony.
Graveside services will be held Friday at 3 p.m. at the Ogden City Cemetery.
