In Remembrance of Marilyn Whitesides Dalton
Arrivals and Departures : Marilyn arrived at this Earth on August 19, 1928. After more than 86 years, her life filled with precious enrichments, she departed upon the good ship ”Eternity” on November 29, 2014 at 10:25 a.m.
The Gathering : On Saturday, December 13, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. Marilyn will be honored at a service in the Lindquist’s Kaysville Chapel, 400 North Main Street, Kaysville, Utah. There will be a private viewing from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the Kaysville City Cemetery, 500 E. Crestwood Road, Kaysville, Utah.
The Immediate family : Marilyn and George were married on June 25, 1948 and were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. Our sons, Donald and Steven have five children, all daughters: Sara, Susan, Madeleine, Kelly and Jessica. Her father is Emil M. Whitesides, and her mother is Miriam Renstrom Whitesides. Her sister Caroline Whitesides, is married to Enoch Ludlow. Her brother, Stephen E. Whitesides, is married to Renee Robertson.
The Joyful Part of Life : Through her we have been drawn to seldom seen perspectives of literature, music, art, education, and reading; her 26 years as school librarian at San Pedro High School; her service as church organist at the San Pedro Ward.
Adieu : Her last great achievement has been the resurrection from her dimming memory: her playing of Beethoven’s Sonata the “Pathetique.”
So we say:
“ Adieu Until We Meet Again ”
