Beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, Marilyn Stephens Ratcliffe, 71, passed away on Thursday, January 31, 2013. She was born in Ogden, Utah to Alvin Bybee and Lola Garner Stephens on September 13, 1941.

She married Ronald Hollis Ratcliffe on September 7, 1962 in the Logan LDS Temple, together they raised six children. They recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.

Throughout her life, Marilyn was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She held many callings in the church including a fulltime mission with her husband in the California Fresno Mission. She most recently served as a temple worker in the Brigham City LDS Temple.

Her life''s work was in being a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed music, playing the piano, crocheting, knitting, gardening, quilting, sewing, grandmothering and caregiving. She made friends wherever she went. Her life exemplified her love for her Savior Jesus Christ.

Marilyn is survived by her husband, Ronald Hollis Ratcliffe; sons, Michael (Lori) Ratcliffe and Joshua (Bethany) Ratcliffe; daughters, Kay Lynn (Jeff) Schick, Teresa (Brandt) Peterson, Laurie Ann (Rahn) Rampton, and Heather (Todd) Johnson; 17 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and sisters, Joy Dawson and Donna Lloyd.

She was preceded in death by her mother, father, sisters, Sharon and Janice and brother , Larry.

Funeral services will be on Thursday February 7, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the Rockcliff Ward, 1000 Suncrest Dr. Friends may visit with family on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd., and Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church.

Interment, Aultorest Memorial Park.
